So Graceful!

Well this is last scrapping/crafty thing I'll be doing for two weeks while I'm off in Alaska. It was a good way to keep my mind off of all the flying I'll be doing tomorrow. Enjoy!

Noteworthy!

The Simple Flowers stamp set from Serendipity Stamps is one of my favorites. I choose it to complete this months garden challenge and found it so versatile, from soft subtle colors, to bold brights!

For Serendipity Stamps Garden challenge this month I created this adorable little notebook. I used chipboard for both covers, and covered them with patterned paper. The papers are More To Adore from Close to My Heart, and the ribbon is from the Chocolate Ribbon rounds also Close To My Heart. I stamped the image in a chocolate color ink and colored it in with souffle pens by Sakura. The bottom border is the Martha Stewart Scallops and Dots border punch. I used a brown maker to create some little dots around the scallops. Then cut some notebook paper down to size and bound it all together with my bind it all!

Here is a view of the inside. Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my work!

Now hop to the next Serendipity Design Team Blog and check out their fabulous works!

Pretty in Pink!

Another card with my Serendipty Stamps! I just cannot get enough of the Simple Flowers set. To make the card I cut a 4 inch x 4 inch card blank. Then I used my coluzzle to cut it into a circle! I used Offray rhinestones and ribbon from walmart! To color the flowers I used Prisma colored pencils in Celadon green, and Blush Pink! To make the solid line on the cardstock I used a pink souffle pen! I can't wait to make more round cards now!

My Heart Bleeds For You

This is another image that I picked from Serendipity Stamps, for my design team items... the bleeding heart. It also one happens to be one of my favorite plants.

Card Ingredients:
Stamp: Serendipity Bleeding Hearts set.
Paper: Cream water color paper, Black cardstock, and I believe the pink and black paper is Making Memories, but don't hold me to that. Ink: Black Close to my Heart Ribbon: a cheap black satin and sheer I got at Walmart and the pink loopy is something I picked up at a garage sale
Colored pencils: Prisma Magenta, Grass Green, and Green Ochre.
Other: gamsol and a
blending stump
Here are a few shots of one of my bleeding hearts. I've got two but the other hasn't done well since we moved it two years ago. And for every bit as big as this one is... my mother has one that is at least triple the size.. it's so beautiful!
