I can see clearly now....

Our challenge for this month was to use acetate.  I chose to use beach images and make a bookmark.  What's more fun than opening a book so see a fabulous bookmark inside.

I used Seahorse stamp (993QCL) and the Scallop Shell (637c).  I stamped the images on acetate with brown stazon, I then rounded the corners of the acetate pieces, and then tied them all together with hemp.  I added a hemp tassel on the top and added some beachy colored beads.

This project was super simple to put together and came out looking great.  How long has is been since you've used acetate?  Why not give it a try....Mary has it on sale in the shop here ACETATE!  It's half the price of the kind at the office store and you can get 10 sheets instead of 100!

Check out the other designers as well:

And as always don't forget to check out Serendipity Stamps! Mary runs a great site, has great sales, and links to the gallery and blog.
